Everyone gets concerned when there’s an outbreak—but often when that outbreak stops, the headlines stop, attention shifts, and budgets for public health get cut. We must end this deadly cycle of panic and neglect. https://twitter.com/

A Tribute to Advocacy
Kobe Bryant was more than a phenomenal basketball player, he was a phenomenal philanthropist including support of caregiver-related causes. Besides fundraising and personal donations, Bryant used his public platform to support cancer research, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and wounded warriors. He was also a founding donor to the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Over 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers, he won five NBA championships, two Olympic gold medals and was an 18 time NBA All Star. Although one of the best NBA players of all time, some of Bryant’s greatest work was off the court.#KobeintheCommunity
